I'm excited to see it too, I have always loved Tim Burton. But, I was also excited for the Planet of the Apes remake, and we all know how that turned out. The Chocolate Factory one was a little better.
Luckily, the Alice books have been altered so many times, they can't be tainted.
Never saw the Planet of the Apes remake...sounds like that's a good thing. Yeah, The Chocolate Factory was ok. I loved Edward Scissorhands, though. Growing up in suburbia, gotta love the way TB portrays it.

ReplyDeletePersonally, I'm a Carroll purist. Every attempt at Alice in Wonderland falls short, but I am looking forward to this one :).
